Union Rags

Union Rags is going back to Florida. Michael Matz is none to pleased with his performance and gas said that everything he told Julien to do, he didn't. Julien also said that he heard a pop at the 3/16ths pole, but Rags still rallied a little to finish seventh. Matz ended up galloping Rags out last night to see if there were any injuries, which the horse came back with a clean bill of health. Nice excuse Julien. Rags is going to rest up, skip the Preakness and make his return in the Belmont, with a new jockey. And for the record, Julien, you can kiss all your Matz mounts goodbye. Todd, you maybe right about this jock.

  2. haha no problem. It just boggles my mind, when you have the right horse, the job is easy! why Leparoux can't figure this horse out is beyond me. Matz told him that he wanted Rags to be 3rd or 4th going into the first turn and Rags was 18th! Obviously Leparoux does not know how to listen to instructions!
