Well I think his name is telling the story of his career as a racehorse. He was once the beat three year old in the country. He was the morning line favorite to win the 2009 Kentucky Derby but he was scratched due to injury in his left front ankle. Mine that Bird under Calvin Borel (50-1) shot ended up winning the Derby that year.
I Want Revenge has not won since he was 3 and has not raced since May, at Belmont Park. He will race at Aqueduct on Saturday in the $75,000 Evening Attire Stake. I hope this horse comes back with some fire in him and he can finally be back on top.
